A proposed concept for one of the various movie posters used in the promotion of the film Silent Hill.

Created with the intent of acting as marketing for the chosen film of the artist, the focus of this project was to create a movie poster that was unique when compared to the previous promotional material. After careful deliberation, I decided upon the film Silent Hill as the fog, ash, and symbol of the church translated perfectly into the poster imagery. For the font used for the title, tagline, and date I wanted something that felt original while still feeling appropriate in the universe of the film. Last, the tagline that I had chosen for this poster was a less common one used for official marketing of the movie as the assignment did not allow for original taglines to be used.
